Speeding Ticket?

I was feeling really drowsy after taking the flu medication and was rushing home, from work, to get some sleep.

On my way home, traveling at about 110km/h, I spotted a traffic police vehicle by the road side. Immediately, I jammed my brake, reducing the speed to about 90km/h.

Somehow, I instinctively looked at the top of an overhead bridge. I saw a traffic policeman looking through some gadget. Seems like some speed checking device to me.

At that very instant, I got this ill feeling that I would be getting a speeding ticket. I felt unfair. Why am I so unlucky?

When I went home and told my wife about the incident, she said that if I had not sped, I would not get any tickets. It was brought upon me by myself. She sounded harsh but I knew what she said was right.
