Cord Blood Banking
It was 6.30pm. I was still on the road with my wife, heading towards Mount Alvernia to attend a seminar on pregnancy which was to start at 6.30pm
All thanks to my workaholic wife, we were late for the seminar. We went into the seminar room, disturbing the speaker, in my opinion, although she just carried on as if we invisibly joined the audience.
After about 1 hr, we had a break. It was a well deserved one too. My wife and I were very tired and were not really paying attention to the speaker as she was talking about what to eat during the first trimester. We were already in the last trimester. Anyway, we somehow ended up joking about chicken milk. Yes. CHICKEN MILK.
When the second part of the seminar ended, the speaker told the audience to stay back because there would be an external speaker (not part of the seminar) coming in to talk about cord blood banking. That was the interesting part that we would like to find out. Apparently, this bank could offer plenty of benefits. But by that time, most of the audience had left.
In the end, only 2 people stayed and spoke to the second speaker about cord blood banking. And they were my wife and me.
