Gifts Of The Gaps

Today, I attended a course on Authorware.

The course content was really heavy compared to yesterday’s Publisher. As usual, I was late for about half an hour. But I was quick to settle in. Very soon, it was lunch time.

I thought the second session after lunch was going to be tough too. But I was wrong. The course content was not the toughest to handle. It was the gaps of the 2 girls sitting beside me that I had problem managing.

The 2 girls were talking so loudly that I had to strain my ears to listen to the instructor. Furthermore, they had the cheek to ask the instructor to repeat his instructions every time they failed to follow the lesson.

Later, the instructor passed around a packet of sweets to all the trainees. He was very kind to do so as he understood that we were pretty brain dead and we needed something to keep our mind fresh.

After going one round, there was still about three quarters of sweets in the packet. Seeing that everyone had taken one sweet, one of the girls quickly grabbed the packet from the instructor and placed that packet at their table. Like greedy pigs, they started to unwrap the sweets one after another. (Not that the sweet tasted great.)

The 2 girls were simply gross. Not only did they talk loudly, being inconsiderate to the people around them, they simply went on to the extreme to abuse the kindness of the instructor. Oh, come on! The poor instructor did not even eat a single sweet, ironically, which belonged to him.

In conclusion, it is a 2 day course. I wonder how am I going to face them tomorrow.
