Female Bully

My female red eared terrapin is attacking my male red eared terrapin.

It bit the male till it had wounds at his neck. I had just transferred them from their small tank to a big tank and it seemed like the female was trying to boss the male around.

I was so frustrated, I put the female back into the small tank. In doing so, I hope the female learned her lesson at the same time, allow the male time to recuperate from his injury.

Now, the male is not really moving, hiding in his shell for most of the time. While the female seemed to be oblivious of the punishment.
