Boxing Day

Today, my wife and I attended a post Christmas party at our friend, Gary’s place. (Maybe I should call it a belated Christmas party.)

We had wonderful lunch prepared by Gary, his mum and his 2 maids. Gary is a great cook. He often hosts parties and cooks for us.

Although we had curry for 2 consecutive days and today we had curry again, (which meant that we had curry for 3 consecutive days), today’s curry was the best. The curry powder wasn’t premixed. It was his mum’s secret recipe. She bought the various spices, mixed them in calculated proportions and delivered the yummy curry chicken.

The roast chicken tasted fantastic too. Gary marinated the chicken and roasted it till golden brown. The chicken was crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside.

Anyway, the variety of dishes was great.

We then had gift exchange and we got a porcupine mobile phone holder.
