Ideal House

Today, my wife and I discovered the kind of ideal house we would want in the future.

We went to our auntie’s place at Serangoon Garden today and drove around the estate. Our tour led to the discovery of a few houses we liked there.

Whenever we saw those houses, we would exclaim that we loved the house. However, we were not able to identify the reason.

After loitering around the estate for about an hour, we were beginning to see the similarity between the houses we liked and the houses that we dislike.

We found out that we love to have a big plot of land for the garden, while the house itself can be small. It would be best if the house is an island sitting in the middle of an ocean of grass, with a shrubbery boundary to provide privacy. Then our dogs can roam around freely.

We’ll work towards that.
